When this game finishes I’m planning to create a GIF showing the development of the board position. I am curious how it will look

Redundancy even!

Do y’all think we might be able to kill white in the lower right?!

It’s not impossible yet, so yes

You keep playing where I’m playing @yebellz, didn’t I say what I was going to do clearly enough?

I think yebellz should’ve played J3, which would be the only place where it was certain that Feijoa wouldn’t play. :stuck_out_tongue:

And leave Black with an extra liberty? I’m sure he didn’t even consider it.

Round 86

Team Blue Green Pink
Black @Maharani: P8 @Jon_Ko: S8 @Vsotvep: P1
White @yebellz: N8 @Feijoa: J1 @terrific: F3

… after placing all stones …

… around R8 both the green and white chain lack liberties. The white chain contains no stone played this round and hence is removed first.
The green chain connected to N7 is removed, and H1 is removed. New Position:

Despite there being progressively less empty space, the game is still very exciting to me

The most important thing for Black is to let N6 & N7 become black stones and solidly so. @Maharani, you can play either of them, but it is problematic if the other one becomes purely Blue / White, which would be more or less permanent.

I therefore suggest that @Jon_Ko plays the other option of N6 / N7, so that Black is at least solidly connected for now. After the Green/Black stone gets captured, @Maharani can fill it up to make the connection final.

Is it better, if I play N6, so white has to use a stone to force Maharani play the second stone later?

If anyone asks me where I’m going to play I’ll say N7 @yebellz

So @Maharani, which of the two are you going to play? N6 or N7?

N7. (More words added because “body unclear”)

Round 87

Team Blue Green Pink
Black @Maharani: N7 @Jon_Ko: N6 @Vsotvep: Q1
White @yebellz: N6 @Feijoa: N7 @terrific: Q1

All players collide with a player of the opposing team! :astonished: Placing all combined stones …

… R1 is removed. New Position:

Wow, soon I’ll have to start checking if there is a repetition of position

@Vsotvep, if you want I can play R1, otherwise I’m eyeing a move somewhere else.

I think a move elsewhere is more convenient at the moment.

I must say, endgame is totally different from what I had expected, and way more thrilling as well.

Can you do that with a computer tool? Save all the position URLs in a text file and use some computer tool to tell you if there is a duplicate.

Good idea, but I did not investigate @Vsotvep’s tool. Is there a bijective mapping between possible URLs and possible board positions?
