What approach do you suggest? I feel like the difference between approaching the upper left and lower right would be down to preference, but I could be wrong on that.
EDIT: Sorry, meant to say upper right and lower right.

I dunno, even if white himself add a move on the left, it’s getting pretty impressive on the left, so I don’t exclude a quick intervention in that upper left corner too.
Maybe some input from TPK / DDK great intuition would help here?
Sorry, I said the wrong thing, I meant to say that the difference between approaching the upper right and lower right would come down to preference.
I kind of like the idea of just taking our enclosure in the upper left. Since black has two 3-4 stones, we could definitely still approach one of them afterward.
What enclosure would you suggest?
I feel like our stones would be overconcentrated if we did that now, though. Black has played around the board a bit, but we are just stuck on one side. If the natural enclosure was towards the top it mightn’t be so bad, but the natural enclosures are along the left, where we already have all of our stones.
My first thought was to just take the natural low enclosure, but I didn’t think about how we’d be all huddled over on the left. Now that you mention it, I’d rather approach the upper right high.
Why high?
There is something about it’s not that good if you end with your walls facing each other…
Taking the enclosure would make White over-concentrated. I prefer P16 or P17, to approach the corner and simultaneously stake out the side, just as Black has staked 2 sides. Not sure which of those I like better.
No idea. I very rarely approach low. I just like the high approach I guess. I’m not strong enough to know the difference.
Approaching lower right looks feasible, because black don’t have an enclosure at the top which reduces the value of a pincer move by him.
We should just go k10 to get it done with. We should do it soon!
Q5 - to invade the right side
R5 for the fun of it, whites low enough on the bottom side for now, so it’s probably not big for them to back off, maybe kosumi? Or maybe likely could be some pincer.
Or how about D14, two space high enclosure
I think I like D15 best. Like Ruby said, there’s still time to approach one of Black’s corners later, so I would also go with enclosing the top left. Somehow, D15 feels better for me than C15, maybe because it gives White more influence towards the top side, while at the same time it looks nice with White’s wall in the lower left (even though they’re not close).
There is clearly a competition for expansion on the top side, so white should grab as much as possible.
How far is that? P16?
Not quite! Q16, attach!
I was a bit busy and no one took sente to put the poll, I see we have a bunch of suggestions, nice.
Soon enough, I ll publish the poll, feel free to add more suggestions until the closing if any more (and to vote too of course).

Perfect, thanks from us @square.defender
Hey, P voters, we need to get together so we don’t dilute of votes. Shall it be P16 or P17? I’m inclined to P16, but will defer to anyone who prefers P17.
I’ll change my vote to p17 tonight if my preference, p16, hasn’t gained a lead by then.
