Seems like the White group in the lower right is the weakest thing on the board and should be attacked. Perhaps with S4. Or start surrounding it, perhaps with O8 or 9, or P8.
Just to point it out again, white’s D6 activated the double cut. Black might need to defend that now.
I evaluate the value of these 5 stones as something like 15 points no more. And losing them has no consequences because white compromised in being solid around.
A lower right white group kill seems bigger for ex
I like attacking the lower right. But the good spots look like O7 or P7 if you ask me. I also wonder if c17 is sente. I think it is, and the time is approaching for that. So my ideal sequence right now is c17 then o7 or p7. I’m interested in other thoughts.
Now that the black reduction is completed with sente i’d like to hear more about how the next plan coming…
Why do you think C17 is sente? By my estimation black can follow up with a 9 point sente reduction, which isn’t that big. I was looking for a way to break into white’s center, but I couldn’t find one.
Honestly i m still trying to find best move on white LR. I mean the way to cash the most.
S8 maybe for a start? Then i welcome a white O8- black O10 as black
@claire_yang you had a plan if i remember. @gennan i’m curious?
As my previous estimation, if black can get to the 11th line (when white still kept the left side intact), black would win by a small margin (a margin of 1 or 2 zi, about 3 points), now the left side is reduced by at least 8 zi (or in territory term about 16 points), then black’s fallback line in the center can be lower to the 10th line and still keep the small margin.
However, it also means black need to push the LR white group further back (it doesn’t have to be a kill, just flat enough under the 4th line).
I think it’s still valid, just not sure if this is the right timing.
At the end of the variation, I think white doesn’t have to block at move 14 with L13, but just connects with K13. Black cann0t push into L13, because the K11 counter push. Along with the double cut at H8 and H6, a third cut point at L11 will pop up if black does block at K11 after the white K13 connect.
This black group used to have one extra forcing move at F9 to keep the H8 double cut at bay, but after bB7 to wD6 reduction exchange, white fixed the weakness, and this option is gone (in a sense, indirectly weaken this black group’s by removing one of the future option)
Please check if you want to add or withdraw a suggestion
C17
O7
O8
O9
P7
P8
S4
S8
If no more debate/suggestions, i plan to post the poll in half day.
I think F12 is still a valid option, just not sure if others see it my way, that this is the right timing or not. Is it ok after the sequence white cut at L11, and black atari to build a small wall facing downward that reinforce a high center, but in the process strength white’s top as well?
So maybe still up to a vote?
Sure, I ll add F12
Black to play, please vote!

Everyone warmly welcome to participate!
I feel like O7 is a bit of weak move, helping white too much to get eyes, not using black strength on the left and leaving weaknesses (cutting points).
But seems i m bit alone here on this.
I favor P7 than O7
For S8, white can probably just cover from the top at Q9 and go out, white doesn’t have to live locally.
Some time ago (while analyzing ko threats for the potential ko on the left), my conclusion was that black can’t kill white whole in the lower right, even if white ignores black’s first move. So I’m not looking to kill. I’m looking to push white around a little bit to induce a flow that improves black’s center and lower side position. So I don’t mind if white responds by pushing back (I’d even like that for black):
O7 also takes a liberty of O6, reducing some aji around O5/O4/O3.
As for black S8: it is a fairly big endgame point, it strengthens black’s right side group and it takes away white eyes, chasing white out into the center.
But black’s right side group is already strong and I feel that those endgame points on the right are worth less than flipping the balance of power in the center:
P7 looks sharp but for my level I am a bit afraid to be a loss by having opponent’s stones getting around.
Nvm i switch my vote to P7. Fun too.
