There’s loads of movies with the opposite scenario: finding true love to be ‘cursed’ into human form… I’m not sure if your raptorification made this seem opposite

A raptor moves with her parents to another state (within the US), where she is really unhappy at first. Her emotions go wild, so she devours her whole new class, fights with her parents and runs away - until the little raptors in her head finally understand that sadness should not be suppressed.
