The Raptor Game

Good guess, but nope. Hint: it’s a young hip party in New York. Filmed on a hand held camera.

Ah, must be Cloverfield.

Locals try to make a velociraptor repave a road. No one dies.

Falling Down?

Nah, deaths are too likely under those circumstances. After all, it’s a velociraptor.

Hm, then I’m pretty sure I don’t know the movie.

This means the raptor never shows up, I guess?

Maybe. But it did make a few hundred million USD at the box office.

It does. The locals may get roughed up a bit, depending on the raptor’s mood, but deaths are unlikely.

I haven’t seen that one. From reading the plot it seems to be a good guess. But the raptor would try to eat its fellow workers. And in my movie the raptor is asked to pave the road (repave, actually) all by itself.

Ahh, okay. Not a lot of paving movies out there, lol.

So, the “locals” must be pretty tough. Machines, gods, aliens, monsters?

Hearing FernGully really takes me back! Good try.

@wind_water is on the “right track” about the locals. I’ll also add that the raptor owes them over $30,000 in legal fees.

Well done! I was contemplating adding “saved his friend but got hungry and ate his legs” but I guess it wasn’t needed

A young man begins switching bodies with a raptor that lives in a different time and place.

I thought Avatar… but I don’t think that fits “different time”
