241 players still have a chance at winning all their games.
only 179 could loose all their games.
This week:
- 52 games completed
- 8 players disqualified
- 2 resigned
- 30 players completed all of their games
- one less player with all of his games still in progress , now there are 6
- 4 groups completed all of their games
Looking at fresh data:
- 155 already lost all of their games
- 17 could potentially lose all of their games
- 44 already won all of their games
- 187 could potentially win all of their games
- 6 players have no completed games, so they could potentially either win or lose all of their games! (I didn’t count them in above numbers)
Well, for pedantry’s sake, there are three players who got just 2 games each (there’s a group of three) and they should affect a little my count on “all won/all lost”.
This week:
- 44 games completed
- 6 players disqualified
- 1 resigned
- 22 players completed all of their games, one of them with 9 victories
- one less player with all of his games still in progress , now there are 5
- 3 groups completed all of their games
- there’s still one group with less than 50% games completed
- a new player, Diagonally, entered the top ranking
- 42 games completed
- 4 players disqualified
- 1 resigned
- 30 players completed all of their games, one of them with 9 victories
- 2 groups completed all of their games
- player Ken12345 moved up to the top ranking
Thank you for your work, @Lys
I figured someone else needs to post before your update next week, since Discourse only allows 3 replies in a row (if not the OP).
That was me, I think.
Well done!
Games are progressing… meanwhile one of my opponents is gone on vacation with several games having just 3 days left
Note: I’m not blaming or whatever it’s just… funny and surprising
1000 games left
Not too long until the one-year anniversary.
- 993 games left
- 56 games completed
- 11 players disqualified
- 4 resigned
- 37 players completed all of their games, one of them with 9 victories
- 3 groups completed all of their games
- one less player with all of his games still in progress, now there are 4
I just finished my last game of the first round. My opponent timed out.
I’m a bit disappointed that none of my games even lasted a year. I was hoping that at least some opponents would take a very casual, slow pace. It seemed that my last opponent was doing this, using plenty of time each move, but then they just suddenly disappeared (and seem to be timing out in other games as well).
Well, with these first round games done, I’m going to try something quite different now:
I’m also after trying something different.
Anyway, if we look at these big tournaments, it gives us some idea. 2000+ players, and out of them how many chat and communicate? It probably gives us an estimate for the ratio of active community member against casual players who don’t care about anything.
Some serious players might also prefer not to chat/communicate and just focus on playing.
Do you mean in the games or in the site chat and forums? I think they are three very different communication modes.
I’m at move 60 in a game and 71 in another. I’m on my way to being one of the slow players hahaha
- 39 games completed
- 4 players disqualified
- 1 resigned
- 20 players completed all of their games, one of them with 9 victories
- 2 groups completed all of their games
There have been some timeouts from my opponents, so I’m down to just 3 games left, but they’re at moves 45, 47 and 75 respectively, so could take a while
Looks like I’m 20 moves behind you: Also three games left, but on moves 22, 28, and 43
