Uhm… “noob” sounds a bit hurtful…
We try to be supportive of people’s need for a safe environment, but when people try too hard to take offence sometimes we draw the line. Noob is one of those terms that can either be an accurate description or an insult depending how it’s used. Viewing Conrad’s use as “hurtful” heads into “trying too hard to be offended” territory, for me.
