I stumbled upon this absolute gem of an opening today. A butterfly maybe? I donāt think itās ever been played before, even though AI thinks all of these moves are perfectly fine for both players.

Today I got a GoQuest achievement for āWinning a Sword gameā.
GoQuest usually makes a difference between āfusekiā and āVS fusekiā. I was white in that game. I donāt know if I would have gotten the achievement of I had won as black. Is it reputed to be particularly hard to win as white with this Sword fuseki?

No, not really. The gap between Blackās chance to win and Whiteās chance to win is small and actually in Whiteās favor, whether you look at GoQuest games, professional games, or AI analysis.
