Just FYI, I intent to keep my word. I don’t have anything to lose and own individual choices trump rules. So is life. @RubyMineshaft, you know I’m honest, I know you can tell. Your instinct told you to investigate me from the get-go, you should trust it. Loyal to my mission doesn’t mean without honor.
I’m not even asking for an exchange. Just don’t kill me today.
I don’t believe @Gia will do anything in the favor of the innocents here.
I view her last message as a desperate ploy to get us not to kill her today, which does benefit the mimics, since it wastes a day with inaction and while the mimics get the opportunity to gain another kill tonight.
She is playing for her team, and willing to say and do whatever it takes to help the mimics, even if that means to fake throwing them under the bus. Everything she says about individual preferences is just part of that ruse.
@Gia, if you want to help us, why not name your co-conspirators now? Why is it so essential that you live another night?
There is a possibility that we will get something out of it.
If we lose the “bet”, we don’t stand to lose much,
However, if we win the “bet” (though more unlikely), we will get the name of a mimic.
I have a mission. I need to send my data, I said so. I had to slip away that first day so not even the other mimics could tell I was gone.
Probably my own teammates will kill me tonight to shut me up. I’m OK with that.
The mission is first.
Innocent lives is second.
Team is third.
There’s no other step on my podium.
Give me today, I’ll give you a name.
For the record, the cold ease with which you @yebellz personally condemn people to death is chilling. Not to me, but it’s chilling.
My vote is no. In that small chance that the detective is already dead or hasn’t claimed yet, we could end up losing the game here. Gia could just be claiming that to try and live(although I dunno why they’d do that). Gia unknowingly gives us an innocent’s name and then they get miskilled tomorrow leading to our loss. There is also a slim possibility that this is what loses us the game, and I don’t like that.
It’s not like a coin flip, and not a fair bet. Gia is just trying to con us.
This is no different than someone promising to give you a large sum of money, if you only first send them a relatively “small” processing fee. They’ll promise the world to you, in order to gain even just the smallest advantage, since they have no intention of following through on their end.
Everything that Gia is saying is part of that manipulation, and falling for her con does offer a significant advantage to the mimics, since we will have to deal with 3 mimics rather than 2 tomorrow. As Haze pointed out, whatever Gia might say tomorrow would also be part of that manipulation as well, to fool us into killing an innocent before finding another mimic.
Why did you make your poll anonymous? I think we should all openly state our position on the matter.
It seems that @Sports_for_Life has recently checked in on the thread and voted in the poll above.
@Sports_for_Life, any thoughts and comments on the developments?
@Sports_for_Life, are you the detective or a bodyguard? I am asking since earlier @RubyMineshaft revealed as the detective and claimed that @Gia is a mimic and that HHG is innocent.
Honestly, if they have a good reason they find Cool Person suspicious, I think their vote currently is better than if they voted Gia. Voting for the automatic enemy is what needs to happen, but it is also an easy cop-out of explaining why you find someone suspicious, and who you find suspicious. If it started to look like Gia wouldn’t be killed, that is when people need to switch back to her. If they have a genuine reason they find someone else suspicious, let them vote for that person. If people suddenly start switching to that person, be wary of the people who switched to them, and change your vote to Gia. The only thing I don’t like is how their vote has been stuck on Cool Person almost all day, if not all day.
@Sports_for_Life, how do you feel about killing Gia? Is there anyone else you find suspicious? Why have you left your vote on Cool Person all day?
Also baby chick(I said I would call @Cool_Person baby chick earlier), when you come on next, I would like to hear who you find suspicious and if you find Gia more or less suspicious. I know that you haven’t been online for a while and I have already received warnings about pressuring the people who are offline(otherwise I would be doing so right now) but please come on and share your opinions.
I’m curious who people suspect other than Gia. I’m not sure who I want to inspect tonight. I probably won’t go by the group consensus exactly, just because the mimics could then kill whoever I check. However, it would be helpful to hear arguments about who Gia’s teammates may be.
I just came up with a bad scenario. What if the detective has already died(fiddle, leira, or vaga), and Ruby is a mimic trying to attack a partner. If they were doing this, they would be able to clear themselves, and their partner pretty easily. While they are the only one who has claimed detective, I am worried about the chance that they are lying and bringing them and their partner the win. Not super likely, although I can definitely see this happening.
Ruby, you said you wanted arguments about who Gia’s possible teammates are. I could argue that you are. Who do you think are possible teammates and why?
