There needs to be a way to do this using the website functionality. Some sort of option in creating a tournament to make it into a league instead.
Sofiam finished 1024 19x19 matches:
510 x live games played in February (49.8%, that’s ~18 games a day)
437 x correspondence games started mostly in November & December (42.68%)
77 x correspondence games started and finished in February (7.52%)
Of those 77 (counted manually, 4 games unaccounted for, please double-check):
Wins: 21 (28.77%)
Losses: 52 (71+% of which resignations)
Maybe someone with API skills can tell us the game result / move number distributions etc.

Suggestion: IGS used to (maybe still does?) run iron man tournaments like this, I think it was called Cho Chikun cup or something. Their rules are as follows:
Tournament Rules
The following games will not be counted:
A game which was not started or finished within the designated period
A game which was interrupted due to disconnection by both players
A game played on other than 19×19 board
A game played against Robot (Robot’s user ID is Robot??)
A game which does not meet the following time requirement:
Pandanet style: at least 5 minutes for 25 moves
Byoyomi style: at least 20 seconds per move
No Byoyomi: at least 30 minutes for one game
A game with less than 40 moves
A game which Organizing Committee considered to be inappropriate
Please note that the tournament is not for competing the speed of Go. From the view point of manner, the winning percentage must be at least 30%.
Sounds sensible to me, though I’d go to, say, 150 moves and 40% winrate.

Newbie here. Could someone give more details on the rule “Minimum time settings of 1min 10sec x 5”? What could be alternatives (still using byoyomi, like 30sec 15sec x5)?

And what is the equivalent Fischer 5/5. 5 min +5s per move with no cap? Can someone share an example of time settings?
Thanks for the statistics. It has to be said that considering all the games (and not just the 77 correspondence games that started and ended in February) my winrate was over 40%. I probably didn’t play at my best in correspondence games, but these weren’t wasted games.

Even if you only count live games, Sofiam is hard to beat and would have won the 1st prize in her category anyway.

Most of the rules are punctuated with an authoritative period; a number of the rules have no terminating full stop. Does this imply that there is tolerance on… hang on, wait, I see:

What happens when DDK players significantly improve over March? From say 11kyu to 8Kyu, they still count as DDK?

I haven’t heard of CGS before, but if the aim is to increase activity on western go servers, what do you mean by CGS not having enough activity . . ?
