Hi. I just started playing go so I’m still confused sometimes. Can anyone explain to me why I lost? Why are my stones considered as prisoners? Is it even possible for white to capture them? Thanks for clarification.

Because it was scored incorrectly. As part of the scoring phase the players need to mark and agree on which groups are dead, and it appears you mistakenly agreed all your stones were dead. You or your opponent may have marked them as dead by mistake, or your opponent may have done it maliciously. Given how he kept playing in your territory, the latter is quite plausible from being frustrated at losing.

Thank you so much for your reply. I think my opponent have done it intentionally because when we both passed, the app showed result of the game. It showed I won. But it suddenly changed and my stones became prisoners. I was so confused when that happened but now it makes sense.
