I don’t see any way to measure the obviousity of a mistake… And it’s still fun to see how many points according to the AI it costs, especially because that’s not something easy to do by myself.
I found the worst move ever
White really resigned when he is up 2.5 stones when the game is completely set.
Policy only (no playouts) of a weak bot, such as KataGo early in training.
When you spend hours studying classic corner shapes, but still don’t know how to make a tripod group:
Best if you simply ignore this post
Ugh.
My worst move, EVER.
I find it hard to believe (as in “I wish it weren’t true”) thatI really played that. NOT a misclick, just a hectical quick double-click without really looking.
Happens to everyone
All from the same game…
Guess we missed something big, eh xD
I think the worst move there is your choice of board image.
Wonderful, it’s not just the worst move, it’s the worst sequence ever!
The positive aspect of this is that you learn from this.
I’m getting flashbacks to this classic failed mission at the end of Bronze League Heroes episode 11:
This process of trial-and-error is an important part of learning to play go, and errors are an integral part of that.
As everyone else learning go, you’ll make a mistake 50 times and then gradually you start to see it coming and avoid it more and more often. And the same goes for 50 other types of mistakes.
Improving at go consists mostly of reducing the frequency and size of your mistakes.
