Are you worried about coronavirus?

Not news to anyone here I’m sure but I thought this was interesting to have in mind.

A useful video if you have friends that are into “alternative facts” :stuck_out_tongue:

In some countries you will be sent to jail if you do not follow the restrictions. Some countries even charge you a hefty sum of money. :exploding_head:

Why does that make your head explode? Isn’t that what “restrictions” means? It means “if you do this, you will be punished, because it is not allowed”.

It doesn’t mean “pretty please don’t do this, but actually we don’t care”. That’s not a restriction, it’s a wish.

Oh… i understand. I guess it’s because I’ve never experienced this before.

There has been a strange reaction in Australia like this:

  • Government: “We have introduced a lockdown, you are not allowed to have social gatherings”
  • People at Social Gatherings: “How dare the police fine me for having a social gathering”
  • Everyone else “WTF? What did you expect?”

Comparing statistics is vital for prevention and research. Comparing countries is a waste of resources at the moment. I’m keeping tabs on other countries policies (politics), of course, but it’s for later, after we’re done with the virus.
I couldn’t read past “Everyone wants to know how well their country is tackling XYZ, compared with others”.

Should be in this thread too, I guess:

So what has been decided is that primary education will resume, first only 50% of the time, then later to 100%. Secondary education will have to wait a little longer, but will probably resume in June as long as everyone keeps their 1.5m distance.

Also sporting facilities will be open for children, for children under 12 they’re allowed to train as usual, but not to play competition (to prevent parents on the sidelines and unnecessary travel), and for children between 12 and 18 and professional sportsmen / -women; they are allowed to train as long as 1.5m distance can be kept.

For the rest of the country nothing changes yet, probably until around May 20 (at least).

I was washing some stuff in the bathtub, washed my hands afterwards in the bathtub, and then turned around and absentmindedly washed my hands again in the bathroom sink.
I think insanity is stroking my hair.

Quite a coincidence that there was already a book called “The Corona Book of Horror Stories”

I’d pay to get roasted by that librarian using only book titles.

That he had to add at the end that animal tests are different and they are not taking up resources from humans… Imagine what people commented.

“liver-cleansing beverage”

“I used a machine my friend lent me–a “Body Charger,” which energy specialist Randy Oppitz suggested I borrow from a friend. It sent electrical frequencies through my body to oxygenate my blood and stimulate the healthy production of blood cells to fortify my immune system. It also rebalanced my energy”

“I also used a PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) portable machine, which optimizes the ability of cells to start healing. It uses low-energy fields to stimulate the self-healing mechanisms of the cells after a physical injury or a viral attack on the body’s tissues or bones.”

“added a small amount– ½ cup ONLY–of Clorox to a full bath of warm water to combat the radiation and metals in my system and oxygenate it.”

“3 Sinex daily
3 Antivirals daily
3 KappArrest daily
3 OXO (nontoxic quinine) daily.”

Is there a doctor on forum? I feel dizzy.

Somehow it is funny that the “car batteries” are still sold for alternative treatments …

P.S. Source: That is from one of the best movies ever made “Holy Man” with Eddie Murphie.
