Look what I found at another 360 view of that rock formation in South Korea: there’s a go board carved in the rock just next to it!
I used to spend many hours geoguessing when I was younger. Shame that it’s paying now.
Can we do some guidelines, like, ‘No godforsaken highways in the middle of the Canadian, USAnian or Russian hinterland’? And there have to be landmarks of some kind, like a building or sign with more text than a mere traffic sign.
Back then, my strategy was to look if the sun is to the south or to the north, and on which side of the road the cars drive.
The color of road signs, the color of the earth, so many things that can tell you a lot.
This was my new challenge, but nobody has wagered a guess yet, even though it shouldn’t be too difficult… There’s a very famous landmark right on the other side of those buildings in the centre.
