###Another bombshell announcement here as we welcome AmateurMaster (Kang-ting Yeh, Taiwanese 7d) to OGS!
AmateurMaster is also a prolific Go teacher and YouTuber, as well as a good friend of Littlelin (as you may have gotten to know via this forum post). He is the 14th amateur 7d player in Taiwanese history and a former Japanese insei for one year; he also boasts an impressive tournament history, such as winning various Taiwanese national tournaments and taking 3rd place in the 2015 World Student Go Oza. He’s looking forward to share his insights in Go with everyone, and I for one hope he’ll stay!
Upon his arrival on OGS, he’s decided to offer 10 free game reviews to OGS players of ALL ranks. Each review will take about 1-2 days to complete with comprehensive details about where/how to improve your game! Starting from Monday, May 15 at 1 AM UTC (9 AM Taiwan, 9 PM Eastern, 6 PM Pacific), he will also offer a free live teaching game every Monday for 8 consecutive weeks (by appointment).
After this free offer, he will be looking forward to accepting students between 15k and 7d on OGS. Each review will cost $15 USD and each teaching game+review will cost $40 USD per lesson. Chance for free stuff is limited
**ALL SLOTS ARE TAKEN AT THIS POINT, thanks for participating! We’ll notify if someone drops out.
Here is a game the was so perplexing. Felt like I was way ahead and making strong moves but somehow the game came down to 1.5 pts. Please help me understand how I can play better with a lead https://online-go.com/game/8650745
A chance for free review? That’s a no-brainier! I lost a game recently where I thought everything was going well but I screwed up HARD in the middle game. It would be greatly appreciated if you would pick my game for review (I’m 15k right now, but I plan to bump up to 14 or 13 soon). https://online-go.com/game/7936721
