That contradicts the whole idea of sandbagging. If a sandbagger is known, then it isn’t sandbagging.
I think it was a joke.
Cite them for practicing satire without a license.
This is their topic, I think I’ll allow it
Give the sandbagger account a special score based on how close to even they can finish games, but still win. Wins with very small margins get the most points and it falls off as the win margin is higher.
Loss margins negate the bonus points. Bigger loss margins lose more points.
Impossible. I’m always serious. <serious emote>
“Let’s end game by Score Estimate” button. Can be pressed at any move, before any territory border is sealed. If opponent accepts, player who has bigger score by AI score estimator wins. Board is painted by AI score estimator, with different sized black and white squares.
Special rengo mode:
19x19, 5 vs 5
1 strategist and 4 tacticians in each team.
each tactician controls only 1 corner 10x10, they can’t place stone in other corners
every move strategist has to choose which player is allowed to play, if he choose no one, team lose by timeout.
Could be generalized to 2 on each team: strategist chooses a 7x7 area about a star point (must be centered about a star point), tactician chooses a move in it
Oh this is like the Command & Colors board game!
Did we already have the feature where in the scoring phase, prisoners are shown filled inside territory?
An option to hide spoilers (game results) on OGS and the forums.
An SGF viewer for the forums.
An ability to “block” a certain player. Which try its best to avoid matching you with that player ever again (including tournaments) sigh
A theme that has stones that look more naturally positioned, rather than strictly on the intersections. Similar to how Sabaki does it.
Don’t we already do that?
Do we?
Maybe it was removed, or never fully made it in… but I thought we had random pixel displacement on the stones to simulate natural play
Guess I should go search some GitHub commits and see if I can find what I’m thinking of
Possibly, I don’t recall it though. We definitely do some random stone rotation.
