I used an AI to make paintings using only the terms “Baduk” and “Weiqi.” Thoughts?

Makes me wonder how Go would be played if each player had a fixed number of “mega” stones or “mini” stones in addition to regular stones.

Mega stones you’ll buy with diams, category pay to win games on Google store?

There were Mongolian Go variants that used 6 more important (so you can be larger) “bull” stones worth many points, and 144 small “dog” stones worth just 1. Call Dorvolz (basically the starting fixed placement stones worth a lot more if you can capture them, and played on 17x17 board, hence it might come from a very ancient variant).

And there are sources claimed the Tibetan Go variants had similar customs as well, but also extra formations of shapes for extra points (you don’t just play for captured or territory, but for style points as well). But we don’t see evidence of different sets of stones. And they might share roots with the Mongolian variants (which made sense historically, where Tibetan Buddhism became prominent during the Mongolian Empire, and Tibetan empire before that was very influential in Central Asia/modern Northwest China)

The coordinates at the bottom start with A (double A) and end with 19, and top coordinates start with 2 and end with 19. The left most grids are half of the size compared to other grid line spacing.

At least, there is only one illegal position in the middle, and the upper right windows content is completely garbage. But stones are on the intersections, ya!

Both players also have two timers. Black has captured 51 stones and white zero. Also, black has captured 13 stones and white 12. Also, white has captured 2 stones.

prompt: A weiqi cake

prompt: A small cake decorated using the theme of the game of weiqi, realistic picture, using black and white chocolate to as black and white stones. They must look delicious and natural, not perfect.

I guess natural put the soil and leaves… Not so good choice

Why is the first one so good?

I’d guess the second involves crumbled cake, cocoa powder, and mint leaves to evoke soil. But it’s AI, so you never know.

Ok let say you can still do it with edible product

Will you rejoy yourself to eat something looking like soil?

Esthetic makes 50% of the taste. See the Escoffier experiment who colored a whole gastromic meal in green once.

Here it’s interesting how AI took the word literally without considering this.

Framed oil painting on a wall. Pot with soil and a plant: the pot looks like Go bowl, soil looks like Go board, Go stones grow on the plant.
