This reminds me of schoolwork.

It depends on when you use it. I’d never call it a sharp when commenting out code, and twitter is not full of number signs.

In Dutch I’d call it hekje, which means “little fence”.

Could it actually be schoolwork?

“Raute” or “Hashtag”.

Yeah, or, to put it a different way, it has multiple readings.

or : aapestaartje in dutch oh no that was @

Yes, I love apenstaartje (meaning monkey’s tail) as a name for @ (though I’ve never heard it being used for #)

I just call @ at.

Inspired by a (for me) confusing meme in the meme thread:

  • Without Hikaru no Go I wouldn’t have played Go
  • I have read the manga Hikaru no Go
  • I have seen the anime Hikaru no Go
  • I have heard of Hikaru no Go
  • I have none of the things above

What is a manga?
It is clear that I voted: “I have none of the tings above”.

Does anyone know why the title is Hikaru No go

Is it Hikaru no go like Hikaru doesn’t won’t to play go(which doesn’t make sense)

No. 1?

It’s Japanese, where the word “no” is a common conjunction kind of like “of”
