Thanks. Nothing in any log I can see … only @anoek can look deeper.
Major borking on the observe page:
I learned it from another player so it’s not just me.
At some point some games did load for me but it’s slow and borky, for example:
Then:
But it’s slow, easy to think that there’s nothing on the server.
B0rkage confirmed:
No one is playing Go anymore!
(For the moderators - I should specify this is Chrome on Win10)
What, are they all gone?
I approve.
I belive that anoeks “restarted stuff” and all is good again, for the time being.
Is borking (500/520) more frequent today than usual?
I got one today, which makes it more frequent than in the past.
Games borked for me in the middle of playing a live game. In byo yomi error submitting move, and then reloading wouldn’t reload the game. Tried any combination of key+reload button, disconnecting reconnecting wifi. It did come back though - luckily I had multiple periods to use up
yesterday I too lost a game because of this “error submitting move” during byoyomi:
is it related to these load issues?
Just a few minutes ago, across a couple correspondence games, I got intermittent “error submitting moves” issues. Refreshing the page and trying again got past the issue.
anoek was resetting the server. There was a banner about it. Seems okay now.
Borks are much rarer now, nice.
We were running a tournament on OGS today and several players reported connection issues in the last hour.
One sent me this screenshot:
Wait for a while and refresh usually works for me.
Welcome to OGS, where sometimes digital hiccups happen, but where the players and moderators are friendly.
Its was not just OGS
and bonus:
Oh yes. I had problems with steam.
OGS is borky again?
I had a bit of move indicator borkiness, it was a short one.
