Is it a puddle of water with some kind of dust on the surface, or pollen, or oil?
Yes, pollen it is, on a puddle of water, in the little park across the street shortly after strong rainstorm.
The pollen must be in the air all the time, but during daytime I can’t see it (I do see it on the ground though) … but when I go out at night with Jasper I can see ZILLIONS of tiny glittering specks flying through the air in the light cone of my headlamp, they are so many that I’m reminded of the “grainy” light of laser.
I wonder who you’re talking about.
