Imagine in a few years that cooking your meat in the oven or BBQ is miai although there is bit of bad aji with the fire.
And again, another discrepancy from episode 2 to episode 3, the stone moved one space down.
Although not that this makes any meaningful change to the game (maybe one less sente yose?), black is still massively behind, where the LR corner group is dead.
White played better than black, doesn’t mean white is good though
Just an aesthetic observation (after the technical and very justified ones made above), look at the wood fiber …
I think it is the only consistent element across scenes.
I wonder how they drew the scene in anime, do they have to place each stone and textural independently? (and that’s why they mess up the placement in some places?)
I wonder if, in playable counseling, a Go player is so expensive …
I think it happens with everything, not just Go.
Each time I hear someone speaks Russian in English movies, there something wrong with it.
Only specialists in their own fields notice these mistakes. But since they don’t plan to hire additional specialist for EVERY thing, why would they hire Go specialist?
Although the game itself showing isn’t none-sense here, like how white is making living groups in tight space, even black has a 1st line bridge over connection to save a trapped group. I suspect that they just captured a real game and render it to a certain point in mid-game (maybe some animators play it themselves?)
Yep that’s obviously 5 in a row (gomoku). I am surprised by the size 21x21, go find one in a shop Usually gomoku sets come in smaller size and with fewer stones as a go set.
There are 21x21 boards, just very rare, and not necessary for gomoki only.
Oh nice thank you. Something missing in my collection. Is it sold as gomoku or as go board (curiosity)?
This thickness likely go board…
Even some pros tried before. Not sure how current top players would think about the opening.
This game was decades ago between Yuki Satoshi and Yoshida Mika (both from Kansai kiin)
Somebody shakes a bit the board?
