The question wasn’t whether the games have been restored, the question was whether the ranks have been restored. This is planned to be done by annulling, not restoring the affected games.
I’m not aware of the status of this, just clarifying the question. I have the same question

Are the ranks not restored because annulling doesn’t work, or because not enough people annul their games so it doesn’t affect rank that much?

They aren’t annulled because it takes time to test for unintended side effects, as mentioned above.

My was just a curiosity. I have lost by disconnection two games with stronger ranks and won one game with a weaker rank. At the end of the day, this wouldn’t change too much my ranking, I suppose. It can happen. I can only imagine how much efforts you have spent to fix this. Look forward for me is fine.

They made people provisional for a little bit to make up for this, and they also annulled the games that they could that were impacted by this. I remember anoek saying something about how they may start making it possible to unannul games. Did that end up happening, and can I report a game to get unannulled? I have an annulled game that was done by accident that I am going to report if that is now possible.

Sorry for the delay in fixing up the ranks, there was a server instability issue that I’ve been dealing with - the patch for that was just released today and it looks like it finally fixed it. I should be able to get started on fixing up the ranks tomorrow, so hopefully in the next day or two we should have those fixed up.

What that mean I move down all of the ranks I gained? I became a 14k recently for now. I don’t want to suddenly be dropped down to an 18k. If you play enough games, your rank will change. That is what happened for many people affected, even if it didn’t happen for everyone. It is one thing if they reset them closer to that time, but it has been a few weeks, and at least my ranks, and I am sure some other people’s ranks have changed after that. If they reset my rank to what it was then, I’d be really frustrated since I would be dropping about 4 ranks that I earned after beating some people who I don’t usually beat.
Last I heard, anoek will be testing the fix this weekend and flipping everything over on Monday

Does that mean that the wins I am proud of will be reset?
The ranks aren’t going to be totally reset, if that were the case it would have been done immediately. Only the faulty games will be annulled, but it’s a bit of a process to do them all at once while leaving all the other games alone. There will also be some other rating related changes but you shouldn’t lose any of your legitimate games since then more details to come when anoek announces the switch next week

If I have played more than 15 games after this, how will this affect me? I thought the rank system only took into account your last 15 games, and the rank you started as in them.
