People either win more or lose more. I lost more and so did starline. Sports for Life won more and some people I don’t know. There are probably some in the middle, but I didn’t notice as many that had a bunch of impacted games.

I lost four games and won two “by disconnection”, lost two stones in rank (7k, back to 9k) … so … now I will, finally, and for once in a lifetime, be able to experience the dubious joy of being a sandbagger

Is Sadaharu a 9+d, I think? I’m the exact opposite, so… It might be a coincidence that my only affected game is with the highest rank (among my opponents) but it doesn’t seem random. It’s not the oldest/newest game, the game with the most/less moves, most/least time on the clock.
EDIT: Also, no games in tournaments with ranks lower than mine.
I know I’m useless in programming and stuff, but I would consider the possibility.

I lost multiple games with closer ranks to me. I lost to a 23k and many other people in this range, but then I also lost to a 7d(now a 6d) and a now 3d in some of my few games with dan players. I lost to people of all different ranks, just depending on what tournaments they were in and if I was ladder challenging them.

Yes, but you are a DDK, right? It makes sense to be more volatile in middle ranks.
I just thought mine is a more “clean” occurrence, but maybe it’s just random. 
My losses are all ranked ranging from 6d-24k. My wins are from 9k-25k. The 9k is Starline who even moved down throughout the games against me. The biggest pattern for me is that I won of the games I won from this first and became a 16k from an 18k, but then I lost all of the games that I lost from this and became a 20k. There was one annulled game because it was at the first move, but that just fell right in with the group of wins.

Starline was my affected game, too, I think they were 6k or something? I mean before all this.
I had three games against starline. Almost all of my wins were in tourneys, but only two of my losses were. I think if someone lost some games by disconnection in a tournament, they lost all of their remaining games. It happened with me, and the tournaments I am in with poct, starline, and andischl, that I had games won bu disconnection. Some of the tournaments had been just starting, or they had a chance at doing well in. I know that in a few of them, starline was one of the slower people to finish games, although I don’t know if that matters.

I admit that I am one of the slower people in some of my other tournaments. I have made a few fast correspondence tournaments take longer then they should because I had too many games and didn’t prioritize the games over 24/30hrs. One of the tournaments that starline was disconnected from, I am now the last person with games(well I have two games and therefore each personI am playing has one). In my opinion, both games need a few more moves to finish which may make them take a while because they are on weekend pause and I have 3 days in both of them.

I also get an error in challenging the 19x19 ladder, and can’t make move in another ladder game (though I could pause the clock)
Will we be able to get the games back? I lost 4 and was winning all of them. As a new player trying to get to the right rank is important 
I hope you’ll find a way… It cost me 2 games (out of 3 so 66% for me) against weaker players and it wasn’t even my turn to play…

I am assuming most of them will be annulled. I don’t care for many of my losses in which I didn’t really have a chance, but I had some games that I was winning and some that my opponents were easily beating me that should be annulled. Some of the games I lost were games I was enjoying and only had the game because of that. I was ladder challenging a 7d, and at some point, I knew I had lost, but I wanted to continue the game so I was still trying and in my opinion, it isn’t stalling if they don’t pass. Realistically if I had normally challenged them, they wouldn’t even play me. It is those kinds of games that I am most disappointed about losing in, even if I am disappointed about other games.

I’m a kyu player and I have only one win for many losses. If something is impacting it, it really mustn’t be rank. There aren’t that many possibilities, so I will go out on a limb and say the bug disconnected people effectively at random (from all their games simultaneously), given how I got one win at one point, heard about many wins against Sadaharu then, and a few minutes later lost all the others simultaneously.
As for “evenly”, I’ll assume the win/loss ratio is still 1:1
