I think the poll has “tomorrow”, “today” etc. because that’s the standard option. Probably the time was the thing that is important, not the day.

I think removing either the cloaker or the assaulter will make the game more balanced. Removing both might give the enemy too much advantage though.

For all of the new players (@李建澔2, @ginger2008, @Sports_for_Life) in particular, please confirm the following:

1. Have you read the rules in the top post? Please ask questions if any clarifications need to be made.
2. Are you okay with the time commitment? This will require checking the forum daily and posting fairly frequently to participate properly. The game will last several weeks.
3. Are you still in? Are you ready or when will you be ready to start?

If we don’t hear back from people with positive confirmation, I think we should assume that they are not playing. It’s not worth derailing another game with uncertainty about participation.

I vote for none of those start time options. I think the gist of @KAOSkonfused’s prompt was to ask if people would prefer different time settings (e.g., like a slower/faster pace for the game).

After reading your comment @yebellz, I asked for help on this pole because I thought it would be good to hear from the side of a participant. I also didn’t know what options I should put. Here is the response I got:

Uhm, I didn’t mean the lenghts - I think day - 48h and night - 24h was fine for everybody so far. I thought about ending times for the day and night phases. But you already made that poll, so I think that’s fine.

I just answered the poll assuming that it means time of day, not an absolute start time.

I agree with removing both the cloaker and assaulter, but I would prefer removing the cloaker, if people want three special roles.

It seems that @Haze_with_a_Z had already sent out role messages for that game, which was since cancelled.

When we eventually start this game, @Haze_with_a_Z should redraw the roles, since we’ve had one player (Ruby) drop out and another join us (@Sports_for_Life), and since we are discussing whether to remove the roles of cloaker and assaulter from the game entirely.
