Hmm is HJJ the Go influencer with the most number of followers? Or maybe if we count China SNS Zhan Ying has more?
Both have unusually high non-Go content in their SNS (but in terms of the ratio for regional Go population and people, HJJ might still be higher, since the total Go population in Taiwan might just be the same number as HJJ followers).
Regardless, they need to show more Hazuki fashion trends in the parallel universe.
Example of non-Go content by HJJ:

Is that the final boss?? Also, we are getting more hints about the meaning of the manga title?
Written in katakana you say? Now I am very interested. I only passed my sankyuu test so not really literate enough for kanji. Thank you for keeping us updated!
The latest chapter is also exciting so do take a read! Also, the free period for the chapters may be ending soon!
As in new chapters wonāt be free to read, or even the previous ones will stop being free to read?
I think the new chapters would be free to read, but the older chapters will stop being free. For example now Chapter 4 already has some limitations.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate these detailed summaries, Sadaharu! Iām sure they take a lot of time to write, so many thanks for that. As someone who canāt read or speak Japanese, I had to rely on the pictures alone. Personally, I feel the artwork pretty flat and lacking most of the times, sometimes there isnāt even a background pattern, just white. That made me quite sad, honestly⦠And it put me off quite a bit from Go to Go, since I still have the artwork of Hikaru no Go in mind. But thanks to the summaries I can finally appreciate the story and enjoy the manga, like I originally hoped. Thank you!
Welcome! Iām also enjoying it especially when the chapter is exciting
I think the artwork is still okay though I find that the faces of the characters go out of shape sometimes. But hey, itās just starting so letās give the illustrator some time. I think the Hikaru no Go art changed quite a lot towards the later part compared to the beginning too.
Thatās true, Hikaru got prettier over time, but it started out pretty nice already. From what I remember, though, it felt more fleshed out and the stones never looked THAT flat, despite trying to give them highlights. But weāll see. And I might be wrong, too⦠Letās hope that the overall artwork will match the level of the characters. I like the style there quite a bit so far. If their world was drawn on the same level, this would be a really nice manga.
But maybe I should just be more thankful that there is another big Go manga at allā¦
Manga is a medium that heavily relies on visual presentation, and I think Go to Go still lacks a centerpiece and focus for its visuals. When you view Hikaru no Go from the very first chapter, we see Saiās visualization and you can tell they put a lot of effort into his design and representation. People without knowing anything about Go can appreciate it and even package the image as posters and cover artwork easily from day one.
For Go to Go (or other manga after HnG), I feel they just lack in the visual production value because of the lack of the center visual element that can impress viewers of all levels.
I think the author and the editor were saying that the thing to note about the manga is the unique characters which is currently turning out to be the case. The illustrator still doesnāt have much experience so I would give her more time to see. Many other manga didnāt start well with nice drawings too.
Also, letās wait for the cover of Volume 1 and see. That is going to be quite important I think.
