Premature timeout

Twice now I have lost games on time before the clock reached zero: once when it showed 4 seconds and again when it showed 10 seconds. I’m not asking for these games to be annulled, I just want to know if this is a known synchronization issue and if there’s a way to fix it. I’m using Firefox 58.0.1 on Windows 7. Thank you.

Clock issues

I’m having some issues when playing 20sec/move games. My instead of resetting to 20 seconds, the clock resets to 26 seconds. I have flagged three times now with 6 seconds left, so it’s still only giving me 20 seconds but is showing me 26. Obviously I could just remember that I flag at 6 seconds, but it’s really inconvenient/difficult to have to remember that during a fast game. Is there any fix for this? Thank you.

Timer incorrect?

I just played a 13x13 game with the time setting: Time Control Simple: 25 seconds per move. My opponent would always pause and warn me that my time was running out, but I could see 17s on the clock every time, so I didn’t see a problem. I eventually lost the game on time, because my clock ran out at what was shown to me as 15s. Is this a known issue with this time setting? It seems like my opponent could see my clock correctly, otherwise I doubt he would pause as often to warn me. Cheers!

Simple timer displays wrong time

I was playing some blitz games with a simple timer set to 12 seconds. However at the beginning of each turn, the timer was displaying 22 seconds. When the turn reached 10 seconds left, I heard the voice announce “Ten…” and then I timed out. So apparently the game was displaying one time, but using another.

BUG: no countdown for "Simple" time control

I played a game recently where I timed out because I didn’t know there wouldn’t be a countdown for the last 10 seconds, so I wasn’t paying attention to the time… the game used “Simple” time control. Can any dev fix the behavior please?
